1. Who We Are

DotaMirror is operated by Marble Digital s.r.o., based in Trenčín, Slovakia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at: kontakt@marble-digital.sk

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Email address — when you create an account, used for authentication and communication.
  • Match IDs and Steam IDs — entered by you to generate coaching reports. These are processed to fetch public match data from the OpenDota API.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Usage data — number of reports generated, subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the coaching report service
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on:

  • Contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interest — to improve the service and prevent abuse
  • Legal obligation — where required by EU law

5. Data Processors

We use the following third-party processors:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (EU region, Ireland)
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • DeepSeek — AI analysis. To generate your coaching report, the match statistics fetched from OpenDota and any custom focus notes you submit are sent to DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd.), a company based in China. This constitutes a transfer of data outside the EU/EEA. We do not send your email address, account details, or payment information to DeepSeek — only match data and the notes you choose to provide.
  • Google — analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense, shown to free users). These load only after you accept cookies via the consent banner.
  • OpenDota — public Dota 2 match data API
  • Vercel — hosting

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at kontakt@marble-digital.sk. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU resident, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

There is currently no in-app settings page for these actions. To exercise any of these rights, including account deletion, email us at kontakt@marble-digital.sk — we respond to and complete requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication (session management); these are always active. With your consent, given via the cookie banner, we also use:

  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used.
  • Advertising cookies — Google AdSense, to show ads to free users.

If you reject non-essential cookies, Google Analytics and AdSense are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner will appear again.

We also store a short-lived, hashed technical identifier derived from your IP address to enforce fair-use limits on anonymous analyses. It cannot be reversed to your IP address and is not used for tracking.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
